Does Unsealed Spellbook Morgana work?!

So I love experimenting with builds. I've tried Comet, Dark Harvest and Unsealed Spellbook at this point. I want to try Aery again soon.

I think Comet is best for consistency.
Dark Harvest is VERY risky but has high damage. Morg's early game is horrible and is hard to get stacks. Forget about what I said in my tweet, Dark Harvest is too hard to make work.
Unsealed Spellbook is less damage but has more versatility to swap to things for different situations.

Barrier actually sounds like an interesting choice for Morgana. Especially when considering how you don't buy Zhonya often. Though with your aggressive playstyle, it's hard to ignore Ignite.

Yesterday I played Morgana Support with the new build. My Adc (Caitlyn) was 2/9/4 and i was 10/6/13. I was playing normally like getting kills, assist and I got killed. I was paying attention on the game but then I saw my (useless) Adc typing in the chat "I wish I had a Support" ... I was so angry and btw while he was typing she was 1/8. So I typed "I wish I had an Adc" and she said i was bad for playing this build because I was not buying sup-items so I typed "but zyra and brand build the same items so what's the problem morgana using this build because of her black shield the only ability that makes morgana a support, a shield against cc and magic damage. So if you think morgana is a support then what makes zyra and brand supports whan they not even have shield or heal." So at the end I was one the Players with the most damage and Caitlyn was one with the least damage.

ikr adrs are most of the time selfish beings who cant even understand burst support champs, specially the ones that complain about lux support like lux and morg have more damaging abilities than healing abilities what are we going to empower, one support skill!? for what? the satisfaction of them damageless adrs!? also add the fact that most recommended items fro morg and lux are all in damage like void staff

They stuck in this mindset that they have to be the carry on not lane, which I don’t get because if you’re winning games then what’s it matter ? As supports we don’t really mind who’s carrying just that there is someone TO carry, other roles don’t usually feel the same way.. keep on keeping on with that build if it works for you, I’ve just recently don’t the same and had quite a similar outcome.

Yuki lol played this build today I was like 7/1 and my adc was like “stop getting the cs wtf” and kept complaining all game and he even went afk for a bit LOL. I don’t even mean to take the cs but W does hella dmg with this build and I’m trying to push the wave so we get lane prio so I can easily land my cc lol

adc main here. I understand your salt guys but the thing with adc (at least in the current state) they have to input a lot during the laning phase like good farm, pit control, kills and etc. in order to get shimewhat near the same lvl as top and mid laners do with less effort (ex. they lvl up faster just by farming) so they can be useful mid-late game. adcs are in bit weak state rn compared to assassins and heavy dmg tanks so every minion and kill matters to them. Now, if your adc intentionally feeding and just dives 1v2 and dies then I understand when supports get mad and decide to take the lead in their hands or help other laners who are doing better. However, I’ve had matches with supports who would take 2-3 kills and feel like they’re the ad carries now and start intentionally going for kills and cs and basically throwing the adc under the bus and putting them way behind (usually agressive supps like morg, Lux, ashe supp, brand and etc). Just giving a different perspective on those type of situations. Not trying to justify adcs toxic behaviour but just giving a perception on why we sometimes get tilted when the support is ahead of us. Hope this helped :)

Samee, I started maxing W a while ago and my then bf (now ex) kept telling me not to do that but to max q and I disagreed and did what I thought was better for my play style and improved soooo much and went from bronze to gold so fast literally.. Still tho he disagrees but tbh I think it's best to build and max based on your play style rather than just blindly listening to what other people tell u to do.

Jg morgana is something you should try. Use unsealed spellbook or dark harvest for runes and this build: runic echos (blue smite) > sorc's boots > liandry's > rylai's > morello > deathcap or mejai's and you'll be able to solo baron and 1v1 pretty much anyone (having a lot of ap and 3k+ hp)

Unsealed spellbook is really good on champions with weak laning phase and when you want to play safer or you need more summoners than 2 in a game (for example more vs yi here)
