My god! I remember getting my hands on the first version when it first came out! I instantly new it had so much potential back then. I havent used Lumion in such a long time. Looking at it now, it has come such a long way in terms what can be done. I recall the Lumion was the first rendering software that used the horsepower of the GFX card, instead of CPU.

its actually not heavy and would work on a 700$ laptop, it relies on gpu , so as long as you can run computer games you can render videos with this.

this lumion 8 same components and materials in 3ds max, what i like about this is you can adjust directly the material to your desired render, unlike 3ds max more on trial render. . ..using this LUMION does it recommend render settings like 3ds max?

I would like to know about the comparison between using Lumion 8 or Unreal Engine 4, which one did you prefer that has best efficient and for daily uses ? Correct me if im wrong, but in my opinion UE 4 or other game engines like Unity3D has a precomputed baked system that can be useful for Architecture Visualization or even more time saver because they don't need to be render over time, they just need to gets working once and easier to make a revision.. i always use Unity3D to use as Architecture Visualization, and TwinMotion 2018 (but i think Lumion has better results than this..) sorry for my bad english i hope u understand what i said Btw i love ur work! No worries. That`s a hard comparison both have pros and cons. It really depends on what your focus is and which suits you the best. I use SKP/Lumion combo at the moment but Im already looking into 3DMAX/UE4 combo to see which will produce better results. For me the focus is quality rather than speed. So Im not so much looking at the efficiency of the worklflow of particular program rather than the final result.

Nice tool. The balance of rendering speed to the visual quality of the environment and built objects would impress architects looking for competitively priced visualisation solutions. But you should know that the way people are depicted in architectural renderings is a VERY touchy subject with architects, who almost inevitably go with a high level of abstraction when it comes to people. Architects themselves would shudder at the kind of living, moving, "SIMs"-quality androids that are seen here. They would be more likely to paste in static 2D cut-outs of real people using Photoshop than do that. If this software has more abstract, and less in-your-face types of people-objects, those should be showcased in order to market this product to an architects.

Lumion allows you to make different variations but changes need to be done in modeling software first. If you have Live sync enabled you can observe the changes in Lumion in real time.
