This time I want him to catch a grass starter because he already have so many fully evolve fire type starters so for me fuecoco is not the right choice and no water type since he had one water type in journeys and also if he catch sprigatito and evolve into meowscarada it will become a dark type and as ash had to dark type starters being greninja and inceneroar then meowscarada will be perfect.

Considering Scarlet is based on the past, I think that fits Ash. Ash prefers a more traditional form of training. He trains alongside his Pokémon, uses himself as a target, and he is very fit and wild. Like the Paradox Pokémon from the past.

They usually seem to give him one of the new evolutions of older pokemon. It happened in Sinnoh with Gliscor and in Galar with Sirfetch'd. This time the options are Clodsire, Annihilape, Kingambit, Dudunsparce, and Farigiraf. I'd really like if he got his Primeape back and evolved it. Pikachu Annihilape Skeledirge Grafaiai Palafin Cyclizar Scream Tail and/or Iron Bundle The Paradox pokemon can be a last minute addition to the team and take Annihilape's place like Gible or Phanphy

Armarouge would be better IMO. I understand where you're coming from but Armarouge is an honorable Pokemon. We've seen how Ash handled Sirfetch'd so the treatment to Armarouge will be the same. Plus, Ash deserves to have his own Psychic Pokemon (Solgaleo not counted coz he released it and Mr. Mime belongs to his mom)

Armarouge would be better for Ash IMO. It's an honorable Pokemon which fits Ash perfectly. We've seen Ash handled Sirfetch'd so I don't see why he shouldn't have Armarouge. Not to mention, he doesn't really have his own Psychic Pokemon that he can really rely on (except for Solgaleo but he releases it).

I think it would be cool if Ash had a cyclizar on the team because I imagine it would want to journey with him due to it being interested in connecting with it's paradox relative Koraidon while helping it get back into battling, also cyclizar would make for a cool combo with Palaphin since it could use shed tail to safely bring him out into his hero form.

In my opinion, this should be the generation Ash finally catches the elusive Dunsparce lol. It would actually work really well since this gen gave it an evolution, which comes a rare variant. Ash can have a 3-segmented Dudunsparce on his team.

I think Pikachu starting as a flying type to dodge a few ground moves early in the series would be cool, then changing to a type that works better like Steel, Electric or even Normal would be cool. Would also show off his Journeys tendency to purposefully power up his Pokémon beyond just training; with Lucario and his quest for mega evolution and Gengar getting G-max. I’ve loved seeing his Pokémon getting something extra/powering up on purpose instead of just on accident or innately with Ash-Greninja/Blaze Infernape/Meltan summoning his friends to evolve

One thing I would like for the Scarlet and Violet anime to do is callback to the moment where, early in the anime, Misty claimed to have basically seen a Mega Gyarados roaming around in the wild (you can tell it's a Mega Gyarados judging by the sail fin sticking out of the water), and reveal that what Misty had actually seen was a Prehistoric Paradox Pokémon of Gyarados. One working title I have in mind is Raging Waves.

Would have liked this one! I had a team in mind after the DLC too, though it’s a good bit different. My team was… 1. Pikachu (duh) 2. Annihilape (Primeape returns, helped trained up by Eri) 3. Quaqueval (For a fully-evolved water starter that doesn’t leave him) 4. Clodsire 5. Bombirdier (For a flier that can be a little different 6. Ogerpon (For an adorable legend that can launch the DLC-related stories) Ride: Koraidon (Since it was separate in the games, it can be separate for Ash’s team)
