I've been involved with music all my life, and been in a Music degree dealing with classical music, alternative, rock and what have you. Now dubstep has only been around for a couple years now, it's a genre a majority of society had to get used to because it's basically electronic music. Now having Orchestra mixed with Dubstep? I absolutely love it, but ONLY if it's done right! Some people try and it sounds like a garbled mess, whereas some can mix it right, putting in the dubstep beats in the right spots and still have the orchestrated parts close by to stay true to the original music. This song was done right! The mysticism in the beginning, the intro keeping the melodic bells and waves leading up the verse, and everything dropping, letting the orchestra play with the vocals, and that's giving respect to the original. The beat comes back half way and it feels like an agreement to let both styles work together, staying with the dark, gloom tragedy that is Luna's Future. There's the beautiful bridge at 2:00, setting up the last verse, coming back to repeat the strongest point in the original song and go full force to make a deceiving finish at 3:08 for just one beat and finally finishing with a chorus of beats and strings, and at 3:38 with the melodic bells again, and then the mysticism, going full circle. Thus, this leaves the listener (myself or anyone else) to feel a sense of satisfaction. This remix starts quiet, goes loud in the middle, and then quiet again, like going up a snowy peaked mountain and coming down on the otherside. Music can be like a story: Exposition, Rising Action, Climax, Falling Action and Conclusion. That's what I see when I listen to this. TL; DR: JTH, this song is amazing, coming from someone who's been working with music for almost 30 years. Thanks for mixing the Orchestra with Dubstep. It's amazing!

I don't like all the hate this remix is getting, like on EQD. People seem to think Dubstep is a crime and it's unthinkable for people to put their own spin on MLP songs like this. I got news for you haters out there; if you don't understand or like Dubstep, then you won't understand remixes like this. I have no words right now, give me a second... When I saw on reddit, that Aloma Steele got featured in an MLP song I was really excited, but I decided to wait with listening to it until I see the episode. It was even harder when I saw all these remixes of that song, but I still decided not to listen to it yet. Today I've seen the episode, the song was incredible! And then, I decided to listen to all the remixes, including this one... Discovering, that my favorite musician from this fandom remixed that song was awesome, but... Dude, you absolutely... I can't even find the right word, this is the best thing EVER! A dubstep remix of that beauty with Aloma's vocals - perfect! I wanna thank you so much for making it, like... wow, just... thank you!

My gosh...this was simply such perfect timing. You started out with some amazing vocal work, and then....just amazed. What really strikes me as more amazing is that this sounds like it's an original composition rather than a remix, which I find really neat. Dubstep never really stuck with me because I always hated the inconsistency of pacing in the stanzas and post-drop, but this maintains consistency so well that I can lob all concerns out the window. I'm actually finding myself going BACK in the song to listen to the drop! Only two artists have made dubstep tracks that I really appreciate: Odyssey Eurobeat, and you. I love this track. I really do.
