Oh did that bring back memories! I too was a tap dancer at first and branched out into jazz, then contemporary in High School. I retired early having taught younger students for a couple of years. You are very fortunate to have many or all of your performances available anytime you want to see them. I have one picture from my last recital and maybe one from my first. Be nice to yourself; those tears are for the fiery passion in that young lady ;)

I look back at my dance DVD’s all the time . Whenever we did a big show like a musical thing my dance teacher hired someone to film the whole thing and in my dances I was always at the front and it’s so cringey looking at myself with really low legs and no turnout and no arch in my feet but my mum loves watching them
