aespa lore so far: In Welcome To My World, they welcome naevis (their protector whole they are in Kwangya) to the real world. Naevis also got to sing in this song (her voice is a mixture of 4 members of aespa and another 12 singers). Then in Spicy, they throw a party at their university but no one came because of the strange phenomenon. This strange phenomenon is probably caused by Black Mamba (the villain) since she's still alive. Then they introduced parallel universe to expand their lore, starting with Drama. In these subsequent comebacks, aespa here are not the same as the Black Mamba-Next-Level-Savage-Girls-Spicy aespa. In Drama, their superpowers got swapped, and Karina became the villain trying to end the other three members (Some theorized that the real Karina found out their doppleganger that's why she entered that universe and tried to end them). In Supernova, they are aliens who came to earth and caused destruction to trigger Giselle to become a supernova. In Armageddon, a superbeing was constantly monitoring aespa to find out who is real, who is alien aespa, and who is the doppleganger . In the MV, we see that the superbeing corrupted aespa so much and the world here seems to come to its end, hence Armageddon. But we still do not know if the curropted aespa in Armageddon was the real aespa or those parallel universe aespa. The game here is to find the real aespa because as the lyrics of Black Mamba goes "I'm the aespa, there can't be two!"

For supernova, I think the MV is chaotic but it also makes sense. Someone explained (way better than I will lmao) that Karina, Winter and Ningning are messing with Giselle to make her become a supernova, explode and unlock her full potential. Because you need extreme fire (ningning), gravity (winter), nuclear fusion and powerful forces (Karina) to make a supernova (roughly). The three members have their full potential, so they try to awake Giselle, somehow. That's how I take this mess lmao Also, armageddon / supernova album has a lot of different universe, which is pretty dope. In one of the bside MV, they are fighting an ice-cream monster ahah not saying more, but their bsides are always so good. Their latest album is their best imo!
