Lisa, I am going to Disney California Adventure on February 3rd for the Lunar New Year. Hopefully, I will get to meet Meilin and her mother Ming (from the movie Turning Red), Goofy (in his Lunar New Year outfit), Raya, and Shang-Chi (from Marvel Comics). I already got my picture with Mulan and Mushu last year even though it was the year of the rabbit.

I enjoyed this one, Lisa, and I will look for your wish on Wednesday. Going to try the upside down pineapple bread pudding at Aunt Cass and the Almond cold brew at pym’s as well as a couple of your recommendations. We're also going to try the Great Maple for dinner. It's a little bit of a hassle getting to from DCA, and I hope I can get back into the Grand Californian to get to parking, but I'm so excited to try it. 😋

@@Lisaoflisaland Hi Lisa, a little update on new treats and Great Maple... Aunt Cass's bread pudding seemed very dense, and I probably won't get it again, and the Almond cold brew at Pyms is very tasty but very sweet. At the Great Maple… I preface this by saying all portions are enormous. Sharable mac and cheese tasted very good with added bacon but was highly spicy for me (Tiana house gumbo hot). Ribeye melt was good but wasn't wowed, and the same with the Turkey Bolognese. The Maple Bacon doughnuts tasted good but were very dense. I’m probably not giving the doughnuts a fair review because when I feel full and stuffed, nothing tastes very good. Review as a whole, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit again (and it is located out of the way) primarily because it's a chain with about four SoCal locations.
