The Lunar New Year is celebrated in many Asian countries, including China, Vietnam, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, and many more. One way we celebrate it is with lion dancing. This tradition dates back centuries to the Tang dynasty - Between 618 - 906 AD. Lion dancing is seen as a traditional way to welcome good luck and good fortune into the new year.
