Good for you! It’s the best feeling! There are endless ship possibilities and once you get the hang of one idea, another comes along. Their controls make a lot of sense and utilizing symmetry mode can really speed things up if you remember to toggle it off and on at the right times lol. Love these build videos, I’ve only ever played about 100 hour of space engineers and I normally pirate npc ships and repurpose them. I just struggle with what shape blocks fit with what so I have the issue of building of trying to find shape that fit each other

Spawn in a few ships you like around your build, take inspiration on how they tackle certain angles, steal bits of detail etc.

Fantastic building video! I’ve seen many and yours is the best of my top 4 ways to build! My epilepsy doesn’t allow the same routine each day so I’m having to learn new ways then go back to another one a different day lol. Great work, and thank you! Can you build some small large grid ships? I actually prefer those as a single player. The larger ones tend to make the game too easy.

A bridge on the bottom and having the ship shaped like a blimp would be cool. 2 rows of 3 large cargo containers on the top with 4 jump drives in front. A living space and cockpit on the body. 2 small nacelles on the side. Ship doesn't need to be fast. It's actually better if it's slow for docking

I know I'm late, but the reinforced conveyors are airtight. Just as long as the the 3 closed sides are the ones used to seal it up. They also look really nice, like the a side of the sci-fi interior block

Sometimes I feel like I just need to go back to simpler designs… (aka Cock&Balls and things like it) Then again I’m already having a hard time building a glorified rectangle with a partial triangle attached to it. Lmao 14:19 The armored conveyors are airtight ONLY on the faces of complete armor. Meaning you could of used the armored conveyors as flooring. :)
