Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Gameplay Reveal Trailer COMPLETE Breakdown! | 100+ NEW Details!

In this Indiana Jones and the Great Circle new gameplay trailer reaction & breakdown news update video we breakdown the brand new official gameplay reveal trailer for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle shown at the Xbox Developer Direct earlier today. This new Indiana Jones gameplay trailer showcased so many incredible new story, character, and gameplay details. We learned that the Indiana Jones and the Great Circle release date is in 2024, that the main villain of the game is a nazi named Emmerich Voss, how the combat and gameplay will look and operate (first person and third person), how the puzzles will work, familiar friends such as Marcus Brody, and some of the unique locations we will be visiting which include Rome, Vatican City, Sukhothai, the Himalayas, and Egypt.
Last video, we discussed the announcement from Xbox of a brand new Developer Direct which would feature brand new Indiana Jones and the Great Circle gameplay, story details, & a new gameplay trailer! The article stated that MachineGames “will reveal their upcoming Indiana Jones game, an action-adventure that puts players in the leather jacket of the legendary archaeologist. Developer_Direct will showcase more than 10 minutes of game and developer insights, including details about the game’s setting and story, how fans will actually play as Indy, additional details from his next globe-trotting adventure, and the premiere of the first gameplay trailer”.
We also talked about a brand new report out of Insider Gaming that suggests that the Bethesda’s Indiana Jones game release date will be in 2024.
Needless to say we are INCREDIBLY excited for this game and can’t wait for more Indiana Jones and the Great Circle gameplay, trailers, story details, and news updates to breakdown and analyze on the channel!

Can’t wait. I’m excited for the first person/third person perspective despite a lot of people being frustrated by it. Separates this title a bit from the Uncharted/Tomb Raider series and helps to make it a true MachineGames Indy experience. Troy Baker threw me off a bit initially, but I think he does a good job with what we hear. Thanks as always guys for the great content!

They have done such a wonderful job making it feel like you're playing the OG Indiana Jones trilogy. The gameplay trailer made me feel like a little kid watching/playing young Harrison Ford go on his adventure as Indy.

42:49 It's definitely an A6M Zero. I hope it's just a placeholder and not the final design. At first I thought that it could be an accurate Nakajima B5N but the cockpit is too small for it. Someone has to warn MachineGames about this inaccuracy, cuz they were very specific about historical accuracy in the developer interviews. The Nakajima B5N would be a closer design for this segment, given that it was introduced in 1937, but only saw combat until 1939.

You guys did a great job. I did notice you mentioned the German trucks, but my question is do you think we will have a truck scene along the same lines as Raiders. Being a huge fan and that being one of my favorite scenes I think it would be cool to punch an enemy in first person and throw him out the windshield of the truck. That would be awesome. What do you guys think? Think it’s possible?

Awesome breakdown guys! I absolutely love this trilogy and I cannot wait to get a hold of this game! I think it will be focused on stealth and hand to hand combat with the revolver being limited with low ammo or something like that to balance the game out. I also hope that it won't be terribly linear gameplay and somewhat open to explore around the area you're in and have numerous side quest to do because I want to dive into this game for months! I also wonder about any customization in the game. Will we be able to change jackets, whips, revolvers? Just a thought.

I'm wanting this game now lol but if i can rant a bit with a Indy community, I just wonder why a lot of people are acting like they're so glad it isn't a open world game, or a first person shooter, like I just got done watching those movies over again, and Indy uses a gun in all of the movies, he even holds a freaking rpg in raiders, plus he travels all over the world so wouldn't that be a recipe for a bad ass huge rich and detailed open world game with indy kicking ass with his gun, now knowing this game isn't a open world game, I dig it no complaints here, but to act like the game would be bad regardless of the detail and story for being a "shooter" or a "open world" game is peculiar to me as a fan of all the movies and a few of the games. Like 7 out of 10 reactions I watch they all either just hated the first person aspect, or thought it was woke because of the girl character, it's like damn bro it's Indiana jones if you like the movies even if you're only about the trilogy, just based on the trailer alone you're gonna like the game, people are lying if they say different. Love the Vid can't wait for more. lol

I just hope they don't recycle legendary scenes from the movies, it would feel wrong. The difficulty about this is keeping the tone of the movies without copying them for fans sake. Like the truck chase from raiders, a zeppelin action scene like the one in last crusade, the sword fighter getting shot thing and the Nazi that looks a little much like Toth already. It looks cool, but that is what I am worried about

Machine Games know what they are doing, a licensed game don't need to have a specific camera angle to be magnificent, in fact the best one, 007 N64 is a first person shooter... Because you are 007 you not just playing with him.

Why take away the option for third person perspective? If we want first person games we would go and play COD. How dare this team take away this iconic character that spawned so many other titles that followed in its wake. Shame, burying his image 90% of the game only to pull back the camera to tease 3rd person mode is a travesty. Its not too late create that switch option, do that and you have got a money maker on your hands.

@@GameOnJesse and I don't give a duck about it mostly you have too big world without anything good most planets look identical have too much empty space and sometimes some enemies but they are mostly the same as any other planet. This game feels mostly empty and "it just works" and you Bethesda fans are only ones who buying this shit and some that have some oil in the brain see that this doesn't feel right in this game. Too many bugs at the premiere they only going in to the map size but where's the overall quality? The same happened with Skyrim but that was a different time and at todays standards it's just a crap

I'm very disappointed with how they handled the perspective. You can make "FPS" Indy work, but I feel like it would have required a bit more effort into giving us more 3rd person moments like melee finishers / stealth kills, dynamic contextual events that trigger a 3rd person moment etc... Not just climbing ladders and ziplining ......... Also hate the "you ARE indiana jones, we want you to be in his shoes that's why it's FPS !", then proceed to show literally all the big moments in non interactive non playable 3rd person cutscenes. Like ... ?? Cause at this point I'm basically watching a non interactive movie, then I get to play a floating fist for 30 minutes, then another cutscene... like ... it also means any big epic set piece can not be 3rd person, and vice versa if they bother to animate Indy doing anything cool, it won't be playable. Tomb Raider and Uncharted barely get ANY game... I don't feel like they oversaturated the market, we have ZERO for the current generation... Puzzle in FPS and exploration in 3rd person would have been great but guess they really wanted you to look at a floating fist for hours on end trying to do optional content heh (which at this point will have 0 animation or cutscene so you may not see the character at all for those unless you luckily find a ladder). We already had Wolfenstein to shoot Nazis FPS style so I don't see why this HAD to be like this, and doing a much worse job with 3rd person moments than other games (including COD, let that sink in). Also because this is an AAA, that means Disney will never ever greenlit a normal action adventure Indy game while this is a thing, if it flops the series is dead, if it does well it will just be more and more FPS. Very frustrated. I'll try to give it a chance still, but yeah, had to vent.
