I've used Voodoo 262/268 flat tappet cams in my 351w and 460 BBF and LOVE THEM. For the street, you can't beat them.

All I run are Lunati roller cams so my assumption for cam 1 is either the 50121 or the 50514. I run the 50121 in a fuel injected standard bore 351w with Promaxx 175 heads and a ported Professional Products (Edelbrock knockoff) EFI intake and it makes a solid 479hp at the crank. P heads aren't bad heads as we can see and I've ran them for years. I prefer P heads over GT40 irons anyday just due to the fact of the 20hp that they make over a GT40 iron head and the compression bump. People say that they are basically the same. They are not unless the the GT40 iron head is ported

Just put a Lunati VooDoo 60301 256/262 cam in my 1968 H code Chrysler 383. Man what a nice cam. Idles great, great vacuum and tons of torque. Very nice for a 68 fury with a 4 speed A833 and 3.23. Bottom end of engine is completely original as are the the 906 heads.

I'm using lunati voodoo 499/483, in a stock old 302.....I love this thing good street manners is what I needed. Next to the old one it looks 1/4" taller, lol. All kinds of duration is nice, until you have to drive it every day...

Closed captioning needs help: "0.020" lift" reads 20,000 to the viewer! Carve me a mountain. I think that falls on youtube [whatever software they use], but since the audio level is so low, it becomes an issue.

I have a question....is it ok to use crappy, push-in stud, 1973 302 rocker arms for .500 lift, or smaller, cams, will they have enough slot, or do I increase the slot to accommodate them?

I don't recommend. 500 with push in studs myself but it is possible its just kinda riding that thin line. Its risky and could go either way at that lift, but people do it all the time if u can at least pin them at the very least you'd be way better off

It's a Junkyard Ford 5.0! Of course it has stock pistons. Looks like a basic Edelbrock Performer RPM intake and carb is some sort of Holley DP (XP?) I wouldn't put anything bigger than a 650cfm on a 302...

Nick garage dynoed a 351c, 2v vs 4v heads....unless your going to turn it above 6200, the 2v heads outperform! 2v heads are the way to go, make more power everywhere below 6200+, 2v heads way better....I didn't believe it either, but it's just like the oval port BBC heads, they way better then rectangular port until you turn them up over 6 grand.......too much port isn't always a good thing on a street motor....

The stock explorer cam is a real turd. The stock mustang 5.0 camshaft is leaps and bounds better. I would venture to guess a stock mustang 5.0 camshaft would have made 20 more hp than the exploder camshaft.

@@hotrodray6802 not even close, the ONLY thing some what close is the lift. Everything else is different. Explorer cam only has 186/197 of duration @ .050" .422/.448 with a 116 lobe seperation. The Explorer valve springs can’t even support an HO cam without valve float lol. H.O cam is 210/210 @ .050” with .444/.444
