A good way to prevent the cake board from sliding around is using double sided tape on the bottom of the board to temporarily stick it to the turntable.

I really enjoyed all your tips. I am considering making mini cakes for my daughter's wedding instead of cup cakes. My main concern is being able to make 100 + mini cakes without going crazy. Glad to hear I can make both the cakes and icing ahead and freeze. In one of your videos I saw square cakes. It seems like the square might be easier than the round to put icing on the sides. You can also use foil tape to wrap the cake boards too hope this helps.

Thank you! 🤗 Yeah, sprinkles are 90% style and 10% substance, but so many people love them so I love using them. Especially kids! I think there are 4 inch cake boards that are moisture proof, but those are a little bigger than the ones I use here.
