This is very helpful thanks! Would love to see a packit with the same yeti set up with extra ice packs! Wondering if it’ll be similar!

Cold air travels down; warm air moves up. That’s why you have to have ice not only at the bottom, but also on top. So, when having an ice pack on top and compare it to another cooler where the ice pack is at the bottom, there must be a difference (ice at the bottom won’t be able to cool down the bag as well as having ice at the top -> here the cold air moves down, where the thermometer is). The Chillibox is the only cooler where you put ice on top. Just saying…

Yes cold air travels down. I tested the chillybox without the top ice pack and still performs great like the Bentgo having food surrounded with ice and cold air cant escape out the conner like you get with conventional ice packs in a cooler

Could you test the 3 best performing lunch boxes with an Rtic brand lunch box

I would assume the Rtic would be similar to the Yeti. If the ice tray doesn’t have 5 sides like the Bentgo to Chillybox it doesn’t work and your food is unsafe after 2-4 hrs
