Collectors and Hoarders are driven by two very different mindsets. For example, a collector is not embarrassed by his collection, displays his collections with pride. People who collect coins get nice cases, people who collect stamps place them in nice, orderly books. They are driven by the need to have one of each (and the truly crazy want 2 of each, one to open one to keep sealed) and take very good care of their possessions. They will often just take time to admire whatever they decided to collect. They know exactly what they have, and exactly what they are looking for. Now watch any episode of hoarders. They aren't collecting anything. They just aren't throwing away useless things (yes useless is subjective but I think we can all agree collecting action figures is not comparable to not throwing away old soiled clothes). They are often very embarrassed of what they are hoarding. They tend to get in trouble with the law with their compulsions as it leads to uninhabitable living spaces, where some geek trying to get a mint copy of every Batman comic protected in a plastic bag and board and kept in numerical order in a temperature and light controlled area aren't. I've seen episodes of hoarders where they won't throw away expired food. And not like, oh this can of green beans said best by last month. I'm talking chicken from 4 years ago. They don't take care of the shit they are holding, they often don't even know what they have.

I remember once when I was younger, I got that pizza meal and didn't know I wasn't supposed to microwave it. I unwrapped it, took off the film, and stuck in the microwave, only to find that when I took it out, I had a melted-together block of the orange cheese instead of the little crumbs. So a few things: - they actually upgraded the pepperoni to actual pepperon slices, it used to be “pepperoni flavored sausage “, which was okay, but tasted like someone was asked to describe how pepperoni tasted from memory. - I vaguely remember the red stick actually being a spoon when lunchables first came out, then they went with the stick for a while before not including anything at all. -the sauce used to be tombstone branded, though it does still taste the same even without the branding. -and lastly, I had an easy bake oven rebranded for Chuck E.
