Hi Bridgett, love your Mom's luncheon with her friends. How about sharing her recipe for derby pie and the pasta salad. And would you consider showing us how to use the frame to properly frame a sampler? And while I'm at it, please put a pattern of one of your samplers on video. I made them years ago ( probably 45) but always from kits. I need a whole refresher course. As always, I love your videos and look for them every day. Bless you and your Mom.

Bridgett , I just had to snicker when you said your mom wanted you to come over for a minute, she wanted you to see her beautiful table setting and indeed it was so pretty. I loved the yellow gingham and the beautiful dishes. I just thought that was so sweet of her to make her home so welcoming for her friends and her serving them, everything looked so perfect. We have the very same deer problem. The reason that they don’t bother the other end is because of the texture of the leaves. They are furry like lamb’s ear and dusty Miller.

How lovely your mom and her friends are. I love the then and now picture you took of them. It's so nice to be able to meet up with friends you knew from childhood and keep the friendship alive. We didn't get to the 127 sale this year as I wasn't feeling well. We went last year and had a wonderful time, but man it was hotter than blazes and the second day we went it rained and many of the places were closed. I'm so sorry you got stuck in traffic on the way home. Next time you head out to the 127 sale, you can stay with us. We live about 40 minutes east of Crossville in Rockwood and we'd love to have you stay with us. Hope you had a chance to stop at Bucees. BTW, I didn't put two and two together about Alvin York until you mentioned he was a military hero. He is actually from Greenville, Texas (we used to live near there for years) and I always enjoyed the movie about him starring Gary Cooper. Watch it if you ever get the chance - it is a great movie. You bought some beautiful things at the sale and it looks like you guys had a wonderful time. Thank you for sharing it all with us. Love your videos. Lisa Buick

I had deer eating my hosta...I planted sage and lavender in front, along border. Deer dont like the smell or taste of those rwo plants...so they actually left my hosta alone after that.

we went to my mother in laws on Saturday not knowing it was the 127 sales..sadly the little town of Bryan Ohio last year was nothing..then up through Northern Ohio..no traffic this year either..but I did find a HUGE..wood bowl..had to have come from the sales as it was $20 in the antique mall..love your video.such a sweet mama..Becca M

I enjoyed every minute of these videos, Bridgett. Was so good to see your sweet Mama and her school friends. Her table setting was beautiful and the food looked delicious. The garden area is so inviting and lovely. Sorry that the deer couldn't find a "weed" or two to munch on instead of the hostas. I spied a "corn cookie jar" in the 127 yard sale..........I have one like it. Also have a tea pot, cream and sugar bowl also. Would love to be able to go to that yard sale in one state or another. Love the treasures that you bought.......waiting to see where they are placed in your home and the sampler that you stitch to go in the frame. Love the little chair also. I have a one similar in green.
