She sure was breezy today. Nice driving, that thing is a beast. Jeff, you’re a brave soul, I thought for sure your phone was going in the drink! 😂

Wow Lund is definitely a strong forever boat ,after watching your video I'm definitely sold on purchasing a Lund ,maybe something less in length, since I love to crab and fish ,any recommendations would definitely help me out love all your videos

Thanks ~ Not sure how or where you fish so It's hard to make an actual helpful recommendation. But Lund makes several models in the 14 - 16 foot class. Check a few out here www.lundboats.com/

I see you went with the 200hp Would you think the 150 hp would be under powered in an 1875?

YES - Get the 200 HP and be done with it. You'll be glad you did. I certainly am. Good LUCK

What speeds were you maintaining in those conditions?
@AjLynn45thParallelFishing Жыл бұрын
I was running down swell for half the run and then into it at the end, so the speed needed to vary quite a bit to keep from spilling over the front of the bigger waves. My rig has a 6 inch manual jackplate. Doesn't sound like much but does allow me to stay on plane at a slower speed than without. I'd say I was making something around 20 knots, give or take. But honestly the speed is completely trumped by proper boat handling in this one. Manipulating throttle speed & motor trim to Keep the bow high was the key to prevent spearing waves.

Great boat! What kind of top speed do you get ?

Thanks - My rig runs mid to high 50's depending on load & conditions.

Seems like a dry ride
@AjLynn45thParallelFishing3 жыл бұрын
This particular ride back to the ramp was down sea and with the wind. So yes, mostly as dry ride. However the ride out in the morning was into a stiff wind & building waves, so not so dry on that one. Filmed it but the camera was getting washed out the whole time, so not much to see.
