I guess to explain ourselves, we have been travelling for so long (almost 7 months by the time we got to Lund). I supposed that by that time, for each city/destination we reach, we were hoping for something unique and exciting, which of course we probably should not have been. If the guidebooks prepared us for what to expect, we would not have been disappointed, given that other astronomical clocks we have seen across Europe (eg Olomouc, Prague) have all been similar.

Hmmm...it looks like we have struck a bad chord among a couple of viewers. Looking back, I have to admit that given the clock is 600 yrs old that it indeed is a amazing piece of design and construction.

xdvutube Well, I was just about going to write a nasty response. But since you were so gracious to share this thought, I won't. To think this was constructed 600 years ago with 13th century technology it's truly a world wonder. Imagine being a medieval peasant seeing something like this for the very first time. It must have been like seeing the Internet, or today's androids for the first time was for us. Ad the fun fact that the dane and swede at the very top are hitting each other in the head. And it's rather cool! Thank you for sharing 😊
