Small tip for those of you with a Samsung Galaxy you can also do it with your phone. You insert the sd card in the sd slot on your phone, download the tune from the email app on phone and paste it into your Ngauge SD card on the My files reader. I do this all the time is more convenient specially when i dont have my laptop with me. Same can be done to extract datalogs from sd card.

I use a small USB card reader with the USB adapter that came with my Note. Plug the adapter right in the USB-C charge port. Grab logs, send, grab tunes, download, put microSD back in nGauge and load.

I thought switching to E-85 was going to be a big hassle but you guys at Lund did a great job helping me through the process. Quite easy and drama free really and drivability is just as good as 93 with a good sized power increase! Good job guys!

You forgot to mention how to recalibrate the touch screen. I use this all the time. On the main screen where you choose tuning, diagnostics, or data logging. You can just press and hold your finger and a recalibration screen for the touch screen comes up. I basically have to do it once a day. If you have an older firmware this feature is not available.

Hey guys, thanks for the informative video!! I was fiddling with this exact tuner in my 2014 Mustang GT/CS last night and it went to a screen saying “connecting” and has up and down arrows and an x to exit. I took out the key and or turned off the car while it said “connecting….. connecting….” Now its stock on the connecting screen with the arrows and x, no …. Loading, touch screen is not responding at all. I let it sit overnight thinking when the voltage got low enough it would turn off cause I saw something about that you can choose when it turns off per voltage and timing but it’s still lit up on that black screen just sitting there. Only thing I can think to do is disconnect the battery when I have time and reset it that way

Tip: the stylus that comes with it has a wide blade on one end for inserting and removing sim. Lost my stylus though lol.

One quick tip. If your ngauge locks up or wigs out, tap and hold the screen for 5 seconds to reset it.

cookymunster literally the easiest fucking thing to log with. just did a WOT log for a flex tune and it took all of 10 minutes to start the car, get it to temp in this bullshit Florida heat, do a third gear pull while logging. Stop. Save the log. Get back to the house and link up to my laptop to send it in 😂

@@brianneal9204 SCT Just locks owners out and monopolises tune shops. That's why some of us will never consider them an option even if they change change their mind. A tuning shop that needs to use lock in to sell their time can't be too good to start with.

I had a tune put in at American Muscle. The car is running great however at the time of the tune I had 91 octane, yesterday I filled it wit 93 octane with a bout quarter of the tank still with the 91. After driving the car I got a ck engine light I clear the code and it said the car is running rich. What do I need to do to correct this problem Did blending the two octanes have anything to with this?

I have a 16 GT and I bought it with mbrp longtubes no cats, bbk throttle body and airraid cai. I'm assuming the car has a tune but there is no tuner or anything with the car. If I buy this ngauge, is it worth it just because the car has a tune I just don't know which one it has. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes but remember pump gas stoic is 14.0 not 14.7 keep that in mind.

ok I got 2015 mustang with max effort cam 1050id eforce dual pump full exhaust gt350 cam phasers 90mm TB 2200sl paxton supercharger 3.6 pulley 18 intake ported cooler spark plugs got new springs for heads Sr coil pack Lund just tuned it and it's only at 707hp I think that low for my set up other people pushing more with less work brenspeed just put car together they said they couldn't put my 3.33 pulley on because I'm running 93 gas but I c other running them and getting 750hp + please write back

Yep. This is late, but for future reference this is the first thing you should do before flashing. You can go copy stock tune.

I don’t think so. There’s a HP version and Lund version. Each is proprietary, and not interchangeable without paying a fee.

I’m not him, but pretty much for intake tunes you don’t have to. You can do it to be 100% safe and get the most of your car. But for me, Pmas +kooks Lt and X, I was told it’s not mandatory. I think you have to once you start tuning with e85, aftermarket TB, aftermarket manifold, cams etc.
