Addendum: At 12:15, I described the staging of NSCLC. For N staging, I said the ipsilateral Supraclavicular LN metastasis is considered N3. Now, I want to add that contralateral supraclavicular LN metastasis is also N3 disease.

New Guidelines by ACS for lung cancer screening issued in November 2023: The new guidelines lowered the age for annual lung cancer screening among asymptomatic former or current smokers from 55-74 years to 50-80 years. The update also now considers a high-risk person anyone with a 20-pack-year history, down from a 30-pack-year history, and removes the requirement that former smokers must have quit within 15 years to be eligible for screening.

Lung cancer screening guideline by USPTO was updated in 2021 to: Age 50-80 who had a 20-year-pack smoking history. Screening stops after the patient quit smoking more than 15 years ago. However recent recommendation by ACS does not consider the 15 years of quoting but continues screening until age 80 yrs.
