Out of all the folks who have played this game, you're the only one I've seen who takes the time to try and figure out how to actually play the damn game. When Lupa chose violence as a monk against those 2 tieflings it affected his character so much his character couldn't harm the goblin on the mountain

Glad you're enjoying yourself i never thought I'd enjoy this type of turned based game but ive been playing since its launch on ps5 and have multiple characters but none of them are past act 2,and act 3 is the longest part of the game. Larian also keeps adding alot free content each patch so the game keeps getting bigger making this a game people are going to play over and over again.

You are doing awesome! Learning curve in this game can be a lot but take your time ❤ once you get familiar with how your actions and abilities work .. game changer imo. You can get very creative in combat. Combat in the game is as fun as you want to make it. Love seeing more people enjoying BG3! Loving the videos! Keep it up! One more thing don’t be afraid to use your short rest and long rest to restore actions/hit points

Lupa, when Withers first showed in my camp it was the regular one. I spawned in facing away from him and just heard his ominous af voice say something to me because I was close enough to hear, and I freaked tf out like “wait! Wait! Hold up! Is something attacking us?!” Just for it to be his decrepit self standing by the boat 😂

Hide to do sneak attacks, you can hide the full party too, that split option you saw is to have party members move separately instead of all at once, see you tomorrow, next weekend whenevs loving the bg3 play.

I'm excited for you to play this! And the multiplayer...this is a game that nearly anybody can love to play because it's fire! Also, if someone joins your campaign, they get to create a character that's at your current level. You get to be extra af with the different builds. And the ish that happens when you have your friends...it's hilarious

Hey lupa you're doing fine you just gotta understand how abilities like hide work. Also you can split the party by pressing L2 and triangle its useful for if you want to pickpocket merchants. Also you probably could have broke down that door instead of reloading.

Youre doing great Lupa. The game can be really hard at the lower levels with the learning curve especially if you havent played DnD. One thing I noticed in your gameplay that you might not have known is that Astarion doesnt need to be in stealth to pull off sneak strikes. He just has to have advantage those enemy targets. Being in stealth when he attacks is one thing that gives him advantage but another is if his enemies have the threatened tag on them from being in close range to one of you melee fighters. You can see the threatened tag when you hover on the enemies right under their health bars. He can also sneak attack at range with his bow too so a decent strategy could be having your avatar or another melee based fighter move in close to engage with tough enemies like barbarians and paladins and have him snipe from range. Those sneak attacks deal extra damage when they hit compared to normal attacks so if you lean into the rogue stuff with Astarion he can easily become your most consistent damage dealer. Also once youre able to get around to respeccing Gale with Withers I'd recommend just sticking with straight Evocation school for his subclass at least for your first playthrough. Its the most straightforward of the schools and has an ability called spell shaping which makes it so that most of your large spells like Burning Hands can't friendly fire your teammates even if theyre in the direct range of fire. Anyway, love the stream. Youre fun to watch and its great seeing it click with you.
