When Lupe was coming up he wanted to unite the BD's & GD's in Chicago through his music, but failed to do that. There's literally a video of him crying about that, because things only got worse overtime (Chiraq). Kendrick on the other hand was lowkey able to achieve this on the Westcoast "in a way" with the Bloods & the Crips, because the artistry in his music as a rapper was so impactful, it got magnified universally. In addition to being one of the best rappers in the game mainstream wise, status wise, and culture wise, etc...I think Lupe envies that. It might not be spot on, I could be wrong and it might be deeper than that. But from what I've known, and seen over the years. Lupe's opinions on Kendrick has never changed. 🤷🏾‍♂️

It simply isn’t that though. Don’t be obtuse, he’s had a history of asserting his opinion in condescending and dismissive ways. It’s not simply what you say, but HOW you say it. There’s nuance. I may SAY, that I LOVE apples, but internally or secretly HATE them. I can lie, or misrepresent my true feelings. With that being said, I’m led to believe that Lupe disliked Kdot because of how he critiques him. It seems personal, and as a hip hop head it literally makes no sense. Awful takes. He wants attention and I hope dot pays him dust. He deserves nothing.
