One of the things in the video that I saw Lupe do was exercising using movement of her arms with small dumb-bells -even though she was laying down. Which I think more weight loss candidates should constantly do movements activities even though they are laying down. Constant movement even if just waving their arms in circular patterns is better than laying there as a statue. It would also be more of a change of mental state because they would be doing something toward their goal which they can actually do in that direction. Later as the pounds come off, adhering to Dr. Now's diet plan, they will be able to stand and expand their exercising. But initially do what they can - i.e. movement of arms, hands.

Iono. I feel empathy for them both. He was candid about his sexual suppression (possibly not having other needs met by his wife) after caretaking for so long, and it drove him to drink and cheat. Meanwhile, she’s dealing with someone who broke a vow (through sickness and in health), however, as with any addiction, she also seems to have gotten to a point where her object of addiction was the center of her life. I’ve often thought that dealing with someone with an addiction feels like dealing with someone in an affair- it’s just not with a person. Addiction is hard on the addicted and extraordinarily hard on partners/anyone taking care of that person. Now did he and the people around her enable her by bringing her huge portions of food when she wanted, it appears so. Would I have left him? Absolutely. It was obvious that, just like her, he started getting in a bad place mentally, which was possibly directly related to coping with his life with her. He was wrong for all his self-indulgent actions in the end. Period. But all in all, how can I vilify just him? Both people’s choices and actions harmed one another. Both people had MAJOR issues with self control. Both became focused on how to get their physically needs met to the detriment of their health, physically, emotionally, and/or relationally. Both could no longer truly take care of one another- he couldn’t emotionally take care of her and she couldn’t physically (which led into emotionally) take care of him. Even in her talk about this next relationship she focused on how she herself is taken care of versus them taking care of each other. Iono. I hope both her and her ex are continuing to invest in their health and are on a path to emotional and mental healing. ❤️‍🩹

My son’s ex wife has been married 5 times! Within 2 weeks of leaving my son and talking about getting back together, she was moving in with her ‘soul mate’. I assume he’ll be husband number 6. But he also bathed her, wiped her ass, wheeled her ass wherever she needed to go because she was immobile…fuck I wouldn’t blame my husband. ‘Yeah he might’ve fucked you…but then he came home & wiped my ass and took care of all of my daily needs because I can’t take care of myself & if I can’t take care of myself and my needs then it’s highly likely I’m incapable of taking care of any of HIS needs either but yet here he is anyways.” Maybe my mentality is just fucked up? But hell he does all that shit for her and then it’s a lose/lose. He cheats - he’s an asshole so he pressures HER for sex - he’s an asshole. The timing was inconsiderate and fucked her stitches up and she had to go to the ER for it…bet she probably wishes he would’ve just got it from somewhere else and then came back home and resumed caretaker role instead but not too many people would admit to thinking that because they like playing the victim roll instead (“poor me, he had sex with another woman. The fact that I can’t/wont/just don’t want to help him bust a nut while he is literally taking care of a 600lb baby essentially that he calls his wife is irrelevant though.”) smh I hope her new dude knows he’s just the rebound caretaker so I wouldn’t get TOO invested in that new ‘1 month long yet moved in already because we’re ‘in love’ relationship” FFS I would just be flattered that even after seeing the absolute WORST parts of me, my body, and living like t hat every single day that my husband could even get it up to fuck me at all in the first place. And WANTED to, not just stomach it because *I* wanted sex lol.

She lives in a nursing home now, wheelchair bound, she doesn't even go to bed, she developed a phobia to beds for all the time she spent in her bed, so she spends 24 hrs everysingle day in her wheelchair. Gained weight again, not as bad as in this video, but enough to leave her on a wheelchair. And of course, she found a new boyfriend, fellow resident of the nursing home. Overall, she seems in good spirits but couldn't live independently.
