Thanks! You were the only person who fixed this. Both my husband and my iPhone 13 Pro Max phones had barely there volume when playing a voice message. No one was addressing this issue ….. Did every step and the text comes through but there is still no ring, vibration, banner, or red "new" dot on the Messages icon. No notification of any kind. Interesting that your iPhone 6 is at OS 13 and mine is up to date at 12.5.5

None of this worked for me.. I have to keep my phone unlocked to hear the notifications, calls.. even if do not disturb is turned off. I turned off my password and automatically I can hear my text messages, calls and other notifications sad.. I had this phone for about 2 years never had any issues till a couple days ago.

There is one thing you left out that should be checked... my sister’s iPhone 8 was not making sound with texts. We watched your whole video and she tried everything. The problem was the bluetooth headphones were blocking sound. 🙂
