*ORGANS* are a instrument where you can hold the key down thus holding the note in perpetuity. Being as this organ purportedly uses hammers is THIS organ able to do the same ?

It's been years since I've visited the caverns. Hope to see them again some day.

I went there on Friday with the marching band (field trip from Massachusetts) and we drank out of the lake. Also, for those who have been in person, the small puddle where everyone throws coins in, and no one has gotten a coin on the ledge in four years? My friend and bandmate got it on :)

I first went there in 1975. Everyone was encouraged to rub the "fried eggs in stone" for luck. It was an almost yearly thing to go there all the way up into the late 1980's. Then I moved away from home. I took a girlfriend there around 2000 and let her rub the eggs. The guide totally freaked and threatened to have us booted out by security (and worse... arrested)! I've never gone back there again and have no desire to do so.

Interesting how our attitudes about the natural world change over time. These cave formations took thousands to millions of years to form, and then some guy comes in the twentieth century and cuts them up to make a musical instrument.

Those eggs are now gone because of people rubbing them
