Quality, good to see bass on lures up here, I just started lure fishing again last year after a 10 year break and had a couple of outings but without success to lures but had a few to bait, will be heading back out again with the lure rod soon as picked up a couple more lures to try as well as some soft plastics 👍

Hi. Unfortunately I can’t disclose the location on this occasion which I hope you understand. Bass are showing up in Northumberland now so definitely worth giving it a go. However, what I would say if you’re wanting to get into lure fishing for bass is look for broken rocky gullies that are exposed at low water, fill up from around mid tide and have plenty of wrack weed in them. Fish when there is a little bit of surf and colour in the water during overcast conditions. Lure wise go for good quality relatively natural silver colours (that bass was taken on an IMA Nabarone) from brands such as IMA and Tacklehouse. Don’t be disappointed when you blank, it happens a lot with bass fishing! Persevere and you’ll get one👍I hope that helps and let us know how you get on. Tight lines👍
