Doing that type of work at that scale is not easy! I’m super impressed with the skill and craftsmanship! Cześć, świetne filmy, bardzo dużo wiedzy. Podpowiedz mi, czy po zabezpieczeniu woblerów lakierem UV ta powierzchnia powinna być całkiem twarda, czy w dotyku taka lekko gumowana? Zrobiłem moje pierwsze 3 wobki i one są takie lekko gumowe w dotyku. I teraz nie wiem czy tak powinno być, czy coś nie tak z utwardzaniem.

Ten lakier matowy, jest taki dziwny w dotyku, normalny powinien być super twardy, natomiast nie jest śliski, jak palcem przejedziesz to stawia lekki opór, ale przy próbie wgniecenia paznokciem powinien być twardy. Dla pełnego utwardzenia ja wieszam wobka w oknie na cały dzień jak słońce świeci, i obracam raz na godzinę 😉

To muszę coś poprawić w takim razie z moimi powłokami. U mnie przy wciśnięciu paznokciem zostaje malutki ślad. A jak czyścilem oczko stelaża to zadarłem lekko ta powłokę i odeszła takim większym płatem.

What kind of UV clear coat are you using? You are doing a great job!

It is a Top Coat No Wipe UV nail polish and UV Top Mat Coat nail polish 😉 I never invested in regular UV resin since I'm using it only for small lures, for the bigger ones I favour two part epoxy 👌

Interesting, what was the reasoning for body filler vs baking soda? Sorry to hear about your grandmother, and mother. I lost my father to cancer a few years back, I took it very hard myself and it really effected me mentally. It hurts but it is something we all experience with time, it was simply your time as it was for me and my fathers back than. I mean no disrespect, to me that was my way of making peace with it. It was hard though, and I can relate to the feeling as we found out 7 months in advance for my father and it hurt significantly just watching him worsen each week. By the end of it he was hardly the same person, and the feeling of being powerless to help overwhelmed me. He was living with me at the time as he couldn't work, every morning I woke up and hoped it wouldn't be the day I found him deceased. Every day I got home from work I also feared it, I know this means nothing to you but as someone who has been in the same spot I am sorry to hear about the loss of your loved ones. I hope you find your peace with it and keep the great memories you had with them alive with you and to know it is something everyone will deal with at some point.

Thanks 🙂 I prefer body filler to baking soda + SG because it's much easier to sand smooth. The setting time is 5min, so still acceptable 👌 I only use baking soda and SG for my bigger lures (sea fishing, pike fishing) as it's strength and durability it's unmatched by any other filler and in case of big lures made of harder wood the sanding is not an issue 😉
