Yes that worked with her later on.

She definitely has a crazy side and I'm always on guard. I was pre warned about cooper's hawks having "face grabbing" issues 😳

Do you have more on lure training? My RT is glove bound and people say don't feed him on the glove. But how, exactly, do I do that?

I'm going to do another video on lure training my Red tailed hawk soon. But you basically feed most of their daily food intake from the lure on the ground and just use a tidbit to return to the glove. Eventually you can stop the titbit on the glove as they will just naturally jump up to the glove after. I hope that helps

@@ACRfalconry How many grams are you feeding her a day? What do think her hunting weight is going to be?

I've been feeding her 50g a day and that has maintained her weight at 410g. I think once the cooler weather hits she will be bumped up to around 450g. That is my guess but I change it as we go to make sure she's healthy
