From the maker about the 'A Taurus Born In The Year Of The Ox' Collection: May’s collection is based on my poem, A Taurus Born in the Year of the Ox, which is dedicated to and inspired by my husband, Ramón. I tease him relentlessly about his stubbornness (the man is a triple earth sign born in the Year of the Ox 🤣), so I couldn’t resist the urge to tease him about it poetically, too. Jokes aside, my husband truly is my rock, my shelter from the cruelty of the world, my tireless cheerleader. He is the most grounded, gregarious, even-tempered person I’ve ever met. I knew within days of meeting him that I would marry him.
The Cartagena Querida Collection is inspired by my husband’s hometown, Cartagena, Colombia. I have been to Cartagena a number of times and have fallen in love with the city and its vibrancy. The colors of this collection are inspired by the architecture of the city’s historic center, the beauty of the sea, and the greenery of Manga (the neighborhood where my husband grew up).

Thank you for swatching! I don't think I realized how sheer these are until I saw them on you, but they're all so gorgeous. Can I ask, what's the material of your background/work top called? I tried a few keyword searches cause I'd like something similar to protect my desk but apparently "iridescent unicorn snake skin" isn't what it's called...

I believe its a "Diamond Table Mat" in iridescent. The actual texture looks like tiny gems
