Watching this today after the loss of Phil Wiggins, just brings home, the fact that we have to cherish our elders.❤

Welcome to South Dakota! It's the greatest place to live in the world. But don't tell anyone because we don't want a lot of people moving here. But you are more than welcome. You'll love Rapid City in the winter.

Thanks for this interview with a blues great. Stories need to be told and heard. Sadly, I learned that the wonderful harp player and wonderful person, Phil Wiggins, has died. I knew Phil a little a long time ago. He gave me some great tips on technique, gave me a harp mix tape he had, and played the Eivets Rednow album. He was really into Steive’s harp. Keep blues alive in interviews and memories.

Re advice: I like it, and your admonishment. I'm not following it very well; right now studying Bessie Smith, Ma Rainey, those women seems to fit my priorities. Awhile back i focused on incorporating Lover Man into our repertoire. It's on me, though, that i just don't put in the time to listen to our giants as well.
