Zippy from Rainbow being a jerk

Geoffrey had a really crap existence if you think about it. Zippy was always kicking off, Bungle was constantly telling tales and George didn't know whether he was coming or going. Here are a few examples of how Geoffrey's life was an unending misery.

This happened a few years ago... When I was in Year 9 (I live in UK, but Year 9 is my country’s version of England’s Year 8) we were having a joint class with the Year 10s in our Religion class. One of the kids in the class was talking too much, so the teacher compared him to Zippy from Rainbow, and told the child that if he didn’t be quiet, he’d zip his mouth shut. Lol! 😂😂😂

In another episode they whine away about how Geoffrey is supposed to be looking after them and he says something like 'I know I am sorry' and in another they are worried that his aunt won't be able to look after them as if he's the only person in the whole world who could. It's horrible that he's stuck in that situation where he has that responsibility and isn't free to get a wife and normal kids of his own. ;-) I wonder how the whole situation came about? In real life I am in a similar position of caring for an adult family member and I sometimes feel trapped. If I was Geoffrey I would retort, 'why should I?'
