I am thinking to invest in large agricultural land parcels, that can be converted into vineyards (and open a winery later on) Is it possible for foreign investors to buy agri land either self or through a company, what are the rough prices of the land that one can expect, any specific location (maybe near skadar lake) and lastly do you personally deal or can refer someone who might have expertise in such projects? Cheerio :)

Around Skadar could be amazing. Great opportunity for agri-tourism too if that’s another interest. Alternatively, Grahovo or around Podgorica could be good. I do know someone who is very knowledgeable about wine/vineyards, so when you’re ready, I can connect you.

CBI as you're aware is a ticking clock in Montenegro and runs out at the end of this year. It is ONLY available in approved projects such as the 2 on the coast with a minimum of €450k buy in, plus €100k donation to the country and admin fees or there are several in the North, mainly in Kolasin, I certainly have my favourite option there, these have a minimum buy in at €250k plus €100k, plus admin. This option has been the most widely adopted as it allows future citizens to save €200k and frees them up to buy the homes they really want, usually in the Boka Kotorska area.
