Additional background below:
Picking up from the storyline set in motion in the previous episode, Tuesday’s episode continues to explore racial bias in A.I., the lack of BIPOC representation in tech, its effects on Black, Asian American and immigrant communities and the resulting conversations within interracial friendships.
Each of the four songs featured in the episode were originally sung by Black artists, and are performed in the show by people of color to illustrate the different effects of systemic racism and unconscious biases.
The episode was written by Zora Bikangaga and directed by Anya Adams, with choreography by Mandy Moore & Luther Brown.
