He is carrying the song himself and there are times when the music drops out and he is just left to hit them notes with no help. Amazing! One night a long time ago (1981) I was in the USAF living in the dormitory at March AFB in CA. One night as I was getting ready to go to my midnight shift, I was listening to this song. I waited for it to end and then I grabbed my hat and opened the door. To my surprise there was a young female airman (they lived on the top floor) sitting outside my door. She looked up at me literally crying her eyes out. She said she was sitting there for the whole time just listening to the song through the door and had never heard anything so beautiful in her life.
