How amazing to see the transformation to how Luton is today.

Much of what was then Edwardian Luton still existed when I was a child living there in the 1950s and early 1960s. Some of the streets are vaguely familiar to me from what I remember. It's mostly gone now. Luton was once a pleasant market town with a thriving hat industry but not somewhere I would choose to live now.
