The only thing this video is missing is the fact that the money from being in the Premier League will not only pay for our new stadium but also 1,200 new houses, leisure, restaurants, bars, a retail centre and community areas which will help rejuvenate the town, this all before the council decide what to do with the land that Kenilworth Road currently sits on. This promotion secures the club's future for 50 years to come and will help rejuvenate the town as a whole!

Luton are really the definition of how a club should be ran. A board who thoroughly care about the club, passionate fans, a great set of coaching staff and some great managers over the years. I've been watching Luton closely ever since we knocked them out of the FA cup and listened to all of Rob Edwards' press conferences and it's no surprise that they managed to get over the line. Rob is a truly great head coach who has developed a special, special relationship with his players and they work so hard for him on the pitch. It'll also be great seeing Kenilworth Road in the premier league next year, it's a stadium with such great character and adds so much to the league to differ from all the modern stadiums we see today. What really dawned on me is the season they won the national league, I was celebrating Birmingham City staying up in the championship on the final day at Bolton thanks to a last minute goal by Paul Caddis. A few points to note. When Luton Town won the Johnstone Paint EFL Trophy in 2009 they were bottom of league league Two (due to point deduction), in the lowest possible position for a team in the EFL trophy. Their opponents, Scunthorpe were top of league One, the highest possible position for a team in the EFL trophy Also the 3-2 win after extra time was an absolute nail biter. BBC sport called it "arguably the best game of football seen at the rebuilt Wembley." Luton's mere presence in that final also gave the 40000 fans the chance to express their feeling towards the Chairman of the football league, responsible for the decision to deduct 30 points from Luton. He was roundly booed as he opened the ceremony. Lastly not only were Luton NOT a money bag team, their wage bill for the 22/23 season relative to performance was 2nd best in the championship, beaten only by Coventry City, their play off final opponents (Luton fourth lowest wage bill in championship yet finished third in the table) They really are the honey badgers of the English Football League

What very few people realise is that they could have a very bright future. Their U18 and U16 teams won their leagues this season too, so if they can push these players up into the first team, they will continue to recruit well and save millions instead of buying. Watch out for a very smart midfielder called Zac in their U16s team. I watched him play 3 or 4 times now and he is so comfortable on the ball. Future Iniesta or Xavi

They wouldn't know grassroots football and what it feels like to be part of a community if it punched them in the face. Luton have already stuck two fingers up to everyone who said they couldn't do it. This is already redemption to make the top flight from a 30 point deduction to relegate us to non-league. Luton have nothing to lose next season. The atmosphere around the club, town and fans is fantastic, they can do themselves proud no season no matter what happens. There are probably 7/8 teams who can realistically get relegated from the prem and Luton will fight for everything. Also commiserations to Coventry City and their fans. At the time Luton Town were relegated to the non-league football back in 2008/09, there was a big story about the amateur club who became an European elite. After successfully created Red Bull Salzburg, an Austrian football giant, the energy drink company made a big deal with SSV Markranstädt for a takeover. The club was fully renamed itself as RB Leipzig, but DFB prohbits the usage of sponsorships to be included in the club name, they used an unusual "Rasenballsport" term, which means "Lawn Ball Sport", but the club still recognized RB as an corporal identity for the Red Bull. They played all games in Zentralstadion, one of the venue for the 2006 World Cup, which was renamed Red Bull Arena. On the first season as RB Leipzig in 2009/10, the club won the Oberliga-Süd and achieved an automatic promotion to Regionalliga Nord. The club narrowly missed a promotion to the 3.Liga in 2010/11, but had multiple success in regional competition (Saxony Cup), which resulted in the DFB Pokal participation starting in 2011/12, at which they stunned everyone by winning 3-2 against VfL Wolfsburg on the very first round. After narrowly failing to achieve an impossible twice, RB Leipzig played in 3.Liga after yet another historic win over Sportfreunde Lotte in the playoffs. Now this is where the golden era has been truly started. The club signed a lot of young players, but the biggest one was the introduction of the future Bayern Munich defender Joshua Kimmich. At the end of the 2013/14 season, RB Leipzig beat Saarbrücken 5-1 to secure a second-place finish and yet another promotion, this time to 2.Bundesliga. However, the success led to the big issues with the club, as the Bundesliga was the competition being controlled by DFL and the club itself are still yet to have a license. Thanks to a magic from Ralf Rangnick, the club successfully gained a license and had to play in 2.Bundesliga. They also signed some good players, most notably Marcel Sabitzer and Sami Khedira's young brothers Rani (who is currently playing for Union Berlin, another East Germany side that will play in the Champions League for the first time after 4th-place finish this season). Initially, the club struggled on the first season of the 2.Bundesliga, but managed to finish 5th at the end of the season. The club also made a historic win over the mega-rich Paris Saint Germain on the pre-season friendlies by 4-2, with Terrence Boyd had an infamous moment by wearing Zlatan Ibrahimovic's shirt. Preparing for the historic 2015/16 campaign, the club sold Kimmich to Bayern Munich and replaced him with a record-breaking transfer in form of Davie Selke. Rangnick now served as a manager and sporting director simultaneously. The club itself then won a promotion to the Bundesliga by beating Karlsruher 2-0 along with 1.FC Nürnberg. The gegenpressing general then left the club and was replaced by Ralph Hassenhütl. Ultimately, the club finally achieved an impossible thing: the first European football in 2017/18, where they finished 2nd in Bundesliga, but they had to wait until 2019/20, when the club's performance in the European competition was reached its peaks by defeating the likes of Tottenham Hotspurs and Atletico Madrid to play in the Champions League semifinal. In the last season, RB Leipzig won the first major silverwares through DFB Pokal and also reached the Europa League semifinal. They are now on course to win another DFB Pokal this year, facing VfB Stuttgart in Berlin on Saturday. Also, this year, there was Sudtirol, who are on course to play in Serie A for the first time, despite being raised in Germany. They had just won the playoff semifinal against Bari with a last-minute goal.

Great video. As a Charlton fan, I could look on with envy, but in this case I don't feel any at all. It's their time now. Some day, some distant day, it could be ours again, although I'm not too hopeful

People seem to forget about Wigan Athletic Fairy tale rise ,they were playing non-league football in 1978 went on to play in the premier league win the F.a Cup and play in Europe. I haven't mentioned Wimbledon as they didn't get to play in Europe due to Liverpool.

I'm a spurs fan and I think it is fantastic that Luton are in the premier due to the fact that I have spent pockets of my childhood up there I'll be rooting for them too .

Tbh i think they're gonna finish dead last but we'll definitely see some shock results as they're an awkward side to play. I could see them beating Man U and Tottenham

I remember growing up in the 80ts as a UTD fan I went to main rd when Luton sent city down and pleat dancing on the pitch they got to the league cup final beat Arsenal 3 2 in 88 so seeing Luton in the prem is good to av um bk in the top flight and there ground will help them stay up for that first season it’s hard place to go to .i think they will stay up 🇾🇪🇾🇪✌️🔰🔰

Luton and Bournemouth both have a claim to the title of best story and road to the Premier League, and even though I wanna be biased and back my beloved cherries more than Luton I have to end the competition there. Luton are a great side and its incredible to see another smaller outlet come through the ranks and enter the promised land just like us. Their ground is just the icing on the cake!

Really enjoyed your video, mate. Honestly, I wasn't paying any attention to Luton Town before they signed Ethan Horvath (I'm American) on loan from NF back in July. Which, I believe, was a significant factor in their success. I love a good underdog story, so I will be pulling for Luton to stay up next season. The final against Coventry was exciting to say the least. I'm hoping they will pick up some of the other Americans that will undoubtedly be on the market over the summer (Aaronson, McKinnie, Adams from Leeds and/or Pulisic from Chelsea). The former players will be available at a discount, I'd imagine. Anyway, congrats to Luton Town! I'll be watching next season and will hopefully be able to attend a match next Spring when I'm in England on vacation. Good luck, Boys!

@@Vizeh Luton's initial rise and decline was very reminiscent of my team Northampton going from the 4th division to the 1st division and back in a single decade between 1960 and 1970, glad to see Luton have recovered but sadly we've only had those few golden years in the top 2 divisions

This actually gave me a better in depth view of how impressive this actually is from Luton. Especially when you think Football is getting more and more overtaken by clubs who spend loads of money and win their titles with that. These sort of stories makes me want to see them do well, i mean their most expensive player along the way was only 2 MILLION! I wish Luton all the best and i hope they'll make a name for themselves next season and do well! 👏
