I perfectly understand Mr Lutyens's disappointment and frustration when his County Hall project was rejected !! :-( :-( :-( He obviously knew that his building would have been one of the glories of London, one of its marvels !! :-o :-o :-o

It seems to me that Christopher Wren's plan for the City of London has been forgotten here !! :-( :-( :-( What would Edwin Lutyens think about that ?? :-) :-) :-) " Wren is to be worshipped " :-) :-) :-)
