The mink is definitely going to be a serious competitor in the fixed blade realm It gets a lot of things right I really hope they build off of this maybe a spear point, a wharncliffe And most importantly a large size maybe a 4.25 blade now that would be fire

I typically prefer a sheepsfoot blade, but the symmetry of the Corgi lends itself to the spear point more. It just keeps the flow from handle to blade better. I am not a fan of the way it looks with the sheepsfoot at all, but want all 3 with the spear point!

5:20 i have the full size thunderbird and the size and shape is perfect but it is the style and placement of the pocket clip which makes it clumsy, switch to a civivi milled clip and it makes the whole knife ten times better in hand

WTF!!! WHY did they make the big Raccoon a bloody _LINER-LOCK???_ That RUINS the knife and makes it a HARD pass. Liner-locks SUCK and the original was great with it's cross-bar lock. That is a MASSIVE disappointment. Hell why not make it a button-actuated compression lock like they were showing off??? But a liner-lock? LAME. Liner-locks _SUCK_ . 40+ years collecting knives and I WILL NOT buy any more liner or frame-locks ever again because they're a lazy, cheap, JUNK lock type.

They're problem is they seem to do small runs of knives that are interesting and only come out with new designs but fail to keep making previous versions and models. I just can't have my ear to the ground 24/7 and with cash in hand in hopes of the knives I am interested in to be back in stock.

Its unfortunate that many manufactures are that way, it seems. The knife world is so strange in that way. I think that there are so many different options that they come out with, there is no way to keep them all around. For example I would have liked to get one of the frag copper corgi's but the small run and never to be had again. 🤠

Great to hear about the redesigned button on the Trek Lock in the Thunderbird! All one piece means we don't have to constantly worry about it unscrewing off the post. Glad to see Vosteed listening to customer concerns and improving their products.
