A name in Australian BMX that needs no introduction, Alex Hiam has been on his bike since most of us were still playing with toy trucks in the sandpit. Coming from the bayside Alex made a mark early in his life with multiple comp winnings and video parts. Before maturing into the BMX superpower that he has become today. Alex has found outside interests in painting, meditation and cooking that keeps him busy between constant flights around the
globe. After years of extraordinary web videos and one other full-length video under his belt, we all knew Alex was going to produce something remarkable. With Mike Vokenson behind the lens, Alex used Australia as his playground clocking clips in Adelaide and Brisbane, Alex battled a number of annoying injuries and came out swinging

Considering that just about every single video these days uses this exact same style, I'm not sure it's fair to consider it old school. It's a new trend, and everybody loves to fit the trend perfectly! Personally I don't understand why modern videos can't leverage modern photographic tech, or why they all have to follow the exact same format. Very original riding... very formulaic edit.
