My Mom passed away 30 years ago. My step-dad took her life. My baby sister and her 2 friends were taken and shot and killed too. l have lived my life crying and almost drank myself to death. This kind of hurt is unbearable. I thank God that i am saved now. Gods grace has brought me through it. I am sitting here now, one year since my mother in law my mom passed away too. Mothers are the other light of this world. R.I P to my mother in law Gail June Peters. Even God gave his son for us. What a beautiful gift in Jesus. Luxmi Entertainers, Sagie Kiston, S.V Govender, Ashok Ramchunder all these guests and so many more musicians, at least we have the music to remember our parents and grandparents and theirs too, to remind us of where we come from. Our dharma, our culture reminds us of our struggles, hardships and to never be cruel but, to be kind. Make right with your siblings. It doesn't matter who was wrong. Let love live in your heart, humilty is closest to God. My name is Roman Govender I am Selvie Govenders son.

What a beautiful song.lts a trip down memory lane .But it is sad to know that so many of the music legends are no more. Now the singer of this song is gone.We salute u the late Valla Kiston a giant in the music industry. Rest in peace. Now u are rejoicing with ur son and ur golden girl .

This is the Band from my district. They lived in New Cottage for those who know Mt Edgecombe. They sang at my wedding too Charmaine Flores in March 1987. I have the video some where in a box in my cellar in Adelaide. Valla Kiston is the elder brother but the younger brother" Merrits" was the song writer. They lost their eldest brother hence the song.
