Now that I am retired, I sold all of my lux handbags except for 1. I lost interest completely. Weird! I was so obsessed for the last 10 years wearing to the office. Another reason is I don’t want to burden my husband in case something happened to me.

Happy new year and I hope you and your family have a wonderful 2023. This was really good. For my lifestyle, being retired, if I was doing this I would have to add a sixth category, the lady who lunches bag. All of my friends are now retired and we all want to go out for lunch, not dinner. It’s because having worked for so many decades it feels like a stolen treat to be sitting down to a long, enjoyable lunch when everyone else is working. My lady who lunches bag is the Chanel Jumbo. It’s perfect for that. It holds all my essentials plus reading glasses and sunglasses and a small water bottle in case of walking to get there.
