I just got the baby Niki in cream lambskin for my birthday last Saturday at the Crystal Shops at Aria after we had dinner at Jean George Steakhouse (if you have not gone, you must go on your next trip to Vegas). I love my new bag! It’s the perfect size for me. The medium was just too big! I’m 5’2 and the medium drowned me. But most importantly, I love the lambskin! The crinkled vintage leather is beautiful too but the lambskin took my heart. ❤ Thanks for the great video!

I don’t have any wear and tear but keep in mind I have a lot of bags and rotate frequently. I find looking preloved at fashionphile can be helpful on how bags wear.

Hi! What’s the wear and tear on this bag? I’m thinking about purchasing as an everyday bag but I’m scared that the bottom will get damaged or have scuffs. I’m between this or a Louis Vuitton canvas possibly pochette metis in reverse monogram.

I am not the best person to ask as I have so many bags. There is no wear and tear on mine, the best thing to do is to look at preloved ones to see how they hold up.

I love my black crinkled medium Niki, BUT my complaint is that the magnet is TOO strong! Whenever I try to open the bag, I have to fight with it, and it feels like the leather is going to rip! Do you, or any of your subscribers, have any suggestions on how to weaken (but not demagnetize completely) the magnet? Much appreciated.

Oh that’s not good! I don’t know of a fix for that but maybe someone else can answer hopefully.

I have a medium niki in crinkle black. You have not removed the plastic sticker over the magnetic closure, leave it there, otherwise you can consider placing a scotch tape over it, it weakens the magnet. Refresh the scotch tape once a while, cos it’s not pretty. I have decided to live with strong magnets after living with the ugly scotch tape for 6 months.

I love the idea of the Niki bag, but when there are things inside, the magnetic closure pulls on the top flap in a way that bothers me! It makes the bag look strange. I couldn’t get over it so have not added to my collection. I haven’t tried the Baby Niki, though. I’m curious if it would have the same issue.

I wonder if you might have tried on the older model? They changed the way the chain straps are now on each side with o rings. I am not sure when they updated it. But I just filled mine to the brim to double check for you and the top flap looks the same as if the bag were empty.
