I have been checking out Astor Black Storm (Manual) since last 1 week and was about to book it yesterday, however, dropped the idea, coz every other day I was coming across a new issue, be it major or minor. After checking out multiple reviews, videos and test drives, jotting down few issues which might help others in taking the right decision : 1. You can see through the sunroof's shade/cover which seems illogical and might lead to extra light as well as heat in the cabin during summers. 2. Improper Under thigh support of rear seat as compared to its competitors, which might lead to inconvenient travel experience during long drives 3. Big hump in the rear, which can be inconvenient for the person sitting in the center of the rear seat. 4. This cant give you gansta feel in terms of power due to low pickup. Turbo engine can be an alternate but thats not available in black Storm. It seems to struggle when you try to overtake another vehicle. 5. Android auto/apple car play is not wireless. 6. Lower ground clearance 7. Although it has a different look and dimensions are at par with competitors (even more than few), but still it seems to be smaller, because of a non "box-e" design. 8. Not sure if its correct, but, it felt a bit congested on the driver side (measured left to right) 9. Last but not the least and the final issue which made me drop this option and opposite of which, is mentioned in this video. "Cabin Noise - idle car". I could hear the engine running even with all the windows rolled up completely, and could even feel engine's vibration not too strong , but still felt it. This is something which was not expected of a 1500 cc petrol engine. My friend owns a seltos and its so silent that, when idle, sometimes we have to check if the engine is even running.

I completely agree with all the points except the 8th one. And not completely agree with the 9th one as engine noise is only at the higher RPM (though you might be at high RPM frequently due to low pickup). Adding a few more cons: 1. The biggest of all is mileage. 2. Doubtful resale value, though it might improve with time as MG is penetrating more and more in Indian market.

@@sameeraggarwal8689 bro I don’t know how you getting 17 kmpl 2 months back I went india to meet family so I used it 15 days it was turbo variant city local mileage was 7 to 9 highway 11 maximum im talking about Jaipur city i visited near place like Pushkar Delhi because 2 of mine friend I took them india to how our country look like in real. Jaipur to Delhi nd return it cost me 5500 rs petrol later I had to use dad car which is diesel Honda city milage machine local 20 highway 26 to 27 if you have mg for one month trip it will cost one month salary only for oil consumption
