I wanted something different, unique to see..Your spa bomb is it! So unique, totally different, and wonderful to see! Like other bombs videos I have seen of yours...Great video, though it would be expensive to make compared to basic bombs it would be well worth it. Or keep to yourself, be hard not to!

You make every bath bomb look gorgeous. Question: you split the batch into 4 and added a lot of dry ingredients to each bowl. Did you need to add more wet ingredients so that they'd stick together? Also, wondering why you didn't use oils for the skin. Thanks for your videos!

Hi there! Just wondering where I might be able to find that super chunky salt? I didn't see a link for that in your description, only epsom salt. Also, I’ve noticed in this video and several of your others, you don’t seem to use water or any other binder, and in this video in particular your mix looks very powdery. I tried omitting water once and the bombs would not hold together. So I’m curious.. do you not use a binder? Thank you for all the great videos you're the best!

Hi, Dora! Thank you for sharing all the information. I love your videos! After I hooked on your videos I made a lot of experiments in 3 weeks and noticed that if I add polysorbate 80 and Cocamidopropyl betaine (mine is 40%) bath bombs become extremely slow dispersing in water, also there is no flattering foam, and bubbles (they are minor). So I want to try this amazing recipe and was wondering whether to give Cocamidopropyl betaine another chance. Would you suggest decreasing the amount of it or just stopping using it at all? Would Guar gum make bubbles bigger for this recipe? I want my bath bombs to look beautiful in water as yours does :)
@CreativeBathLab2 жыл бұрын
Ok ok. So it sounds to me like you are truly on your way! Weather & humidity & all that play such a vital role that my advice to you is to keep doing experiments & record them as you go. Then you'll get the perfect recipe that works for you! I personally like guar gum, I feel like it makes the bubbles bigger. And I use COA betaine & poly 80 to slow reactions & enhance foam. So id start be decreasing them first, then go from there.
@natashagreen53852 жыл бұрын
I add my citric acid last so it doesn’t get a chance to activate when adding the liquid.. and I add my SLSA in first These look n sound delectable so thank you for sharing. Could you add into your videos what people could sell them for as a estimate? Would be very helpful.

Great question! I’d have to look up all the ingredients & add them up... I’m curious about this myself now that you’ve asked. So I will get back to you on this. But you don’t have to buy ALL of the ingredients listed for a luxurious spa Bomb experience. For ex: instead of buying all 3 clays, buy 1! Instead of buying both milk powders, buy 1! UPDATE: I've spent the ENTIRE morning on this!! The quest for pricing the luxury spa bombs turned out to be very insightful! I spent way too much money on all this stuff! Lol. Seriously, I cringed at the thought of adding all this stuff up! (more on this later). Also, just found out colloidal oatmeal can be made at home! No need to spend $ on something that shouldn’t cost peanuts to make! Granted, it won’t be as high-quality (DIY can’t yield small molecules like professionals can), but there are still many wonderful benefits to be reaped from DIY colloidal oatmeal. Matcha green tea is so ridiculously overpriced that I wasn’t touching it with a 10 ft. pole. So, I purchased regular green tea instead. The price of dead sea mud & Rhassoul clay are priced the highest of all ingredients *** which is why I only put 1/8 C of each (instead of ¼C, like other ing.). NOTE: The prices are high, but so are the reviews & research that swear both are the best for skin (but I’m no expert). Whole milk powder is cheapest of the milks, however, for vegan & animal-friendly folk, coconut milk powder isn’t that much more (considering). Bentonite clay was the cheapest clay. Surprisingly, vitamin c & honey powder were among the cheapest ing! Shea butter was the cheapest oil/butter, but, hemp seed oil was right behind it. The total amount for beneficial ingredients used on video is app. $12.50. So, for each bomb it’d be app. $3.15. however, there’s still base ingredients to consider. Thankfully, baking soda, corn starch, & citric acid are fairly cheap, esp. when purchased in bulk! PS: I don’t know the total amount I spent on all the items combined (I just went to my purchased items, saw the price, & calculated the price/oz.); I didn’t add it up bc I didn’t want to ruin the rest of my week! Lol.

Can u pls make a video on fragrance oils Which r the most loved fo and also benefits of different fo How do u choose ur fo and why
@CreativeBathLab3 жыл бұрын
Great request, but I’m not sure I can make an entire video about scents. I’ll def try! But for now: I have essential oils (these have some “benefits”) but I rarely use them bc they’re so limited in the scent range and, in general, they’re much more expensive! They’re highly concentrated scented oils that are extracted from nature; Some can ease tensions, headaches, etc. I mainly use (skin safe) fragrance oils. I purchase from various vendors- My top vendors at the moment are THEFLAMINGCANDLE.com (fave scents: be enchanted, rose jam, bombshell, floral muse), NATURESGARDENCANDLES.com (coconut coast, vanilla musk, vanilla lace & pearls, & fairy dust) & RUSTICESCENTUALS.com (golden sands, teakwood, gilded amber). But scents that smell great to me, may not be your cup of tea.... however, I’m sure you’ll love “be enchanted”. Can’t go wrong with that! Most companies offer a variety Sample pack that usu come with app. 7-10 scents (1 oz. bottles). For app $15. It’s not the cheapest considering most 16 oz. bottles are $20.00, but it’s better than buying a $20.00 bottle of scent that your stuck with & hate. I STILL use this method if I can. Some other vendors that I’ve used include CANDLESCIENCE.com, LONESTARCANDLE.com, & THECANDLEMAKERSSTORE.com. I hope this helps!

Great question! But oddly enough, I’ve never watched a channel for bath inspiration... I’ve watched great how-to videos from various people that show how to make a bath item well. But they don’t show how to embellish it or make it a “wow! I really wanna make that!” Project. But the soap queen is really big on most platforms. Personally, I draw creative bath inspiration from other places. I look at Pinterest; you can look at my boards (creative bath lab) if you like. I also like going to the store, TJMax for ideas.
