The all-new 2021 Toyota Venza is the latest toyota crossover and it slots right in between the RAV4 and Highlander. It's strictly a hybrid and it's a very efficient one, clocking a 39 MPG rating combined driving. Toyota went above and beyond what people probably expected with its material quality, features, and overall comfort factor. If you're looking at a RAV4 and want something quieter and nicer inside..this is it. If you're looking at a Lexus and don't want to spend as much, this is your choice. It's not as spacious as many other two row crossovers but if comfort, features, and efficiency are priorities, you can't get wrong here.

I purchased the Limited model 3 months ago and I am very happy with the car so far... Still learning about all the buttons. This car has plenty of power, I drive in ECO mode all the time, never needed to go to normal or sport mode. as far as the touch controls, you get use to them... You can touch and hold them and the will turn volume up or down fast... all in all the car is super fun to drive... I enjoy the lane departure radar control and the automatic cruise that follows the car ahead of you or turn on turn signal to pass and it will auto speed up to pass the slower car. I have been averaging over 42 MPG in both city and highway...

I have a 2022 Limited, if you press and hold the "Mode" button on the steering wheel, it mutes/pauses the sound system no matter the source, including carplay. Quick way to get audio turned off/muted. Another push and hold and the sound resumes.

Bruh, this Ta-yota looks more like a Lexus than the NX you reviewed last week. If I was in the market, I would definitely consider this one. Looks very premium. Not too concern about the lack of fog lamps. It's really a lot of car even from the "base" model. Yep, she's a good one. So is the AWD on demand as in the Rav4 vectoring AWD system? You stated there's no front wheel drive option so that would mean a full time AWD? That will probably bump the mpg down a bit. Very good review on this one bruh thnx and, a happy new year to you and your family.
@PrimeAutotainment
@PrimeAutotainment 3 жыл бұрын
It sure does lol, pretty crazy. The AWD is purely electric. Front wheels can get power from the engine and electric motor but rear is only from an electric motor so there’s no traditional connection between the two. Thank ya sir and happy new year to you as well. I appreciate it! 😁👍

Happy New Year Nolan. This is nice vehicle for sure. I feel like Toyota should have used the Highlander, removed the third row, shortened the overall length. As it is, this is like an bridge between the Rav4 and the Lexus NX..

Toyota needed the Venza to fill out its midsize SUV lineup. Without it the only midsize crossover Toyota offered in the US was the 3 row Highlander. Virtually every other mainstream automaker (except Mazda) offered two midsize CUVs, larger three row vehicles that range from about 195" to 204" in length and smaller models almost all of which range from 187" to 192" in length. (The VW Cross Sport is an exception at 195.5" long.) Nearly all of the latter (except the KIA Sorento) offer two rows of seats and that's the role of the Venza. (Although at almost 187" long its the shortest of any midsize crossover.) When Toyota decided to jump into the midsize two row category, though, they didn't offer a wholly different vehicle from their 3 row offering. (e.g. Edge vs Explorer, Sorento vs Telluride, Outback vs Ascent etc.) Nor did they simply chop off some length from their 3 row crossover and fit it with two rows of seats (e.g. Passport vs Pilot, Cross Sport vs Atlas, etc.) Instead, Toyota (always looking to maximize profit and minimize development costs), simply took an existing vehicle, the Harrier built on the same platform as the RAV4 and available in international markets, dubbed it the Venza in the US, limited its engine offerings to a hybrid, and added some bells and whistles (e.g. the magic roof window.) Toyota builds excellent vehicles but where they shine even brighter is in terms of being sure each and every vehicle they sell will turn a profit. And again, that's the role of the Venza. As a midsize SUV the Venza is a rather odd duck. Much like the Outback its DNA is more wagon than a true CUV family truckster. But Americans are known to hate wagons, so like Subaru with its Outback Toyota will stoutly maintain the Venza is an SUV and absolutely NOT a wagon. So pay no attention to your lying eyes and remember it's an AWD crossover. But don't expect the Venza to offer midsize CUV interior cargo space. In fact, it doesn't offer as much cargo space as a compact RAV4 or even as much as the even smaller Mazda CX-5. But no matter. The Venza is a grocery getter not a gear hauler. And that's groceries from Safeway not from Costco. Otherwise, the Venza excels in terms of gadgets. In addition to the magic glass roof there's the camera based rear view mirror and lots of other bells and whistles. Not to mention that the Venza is a no excuses HYBRID! That's right. Save the Earth! And do it quietly. Furthermore, if your trip is short enough to bear a speed under 25 mph for a little while you can avoid burning even a cup of petrol. Take that, Chevron! All in all, with the demise of wagons and "family" sedans seemingly on the same track, the Venza is an obvious replacement for each. It's not likely to be a strong midsize SUV seller but Toyota has invested very little in bringing it to market and it will almost certainly generate a profit for dealers and the "Big T."

I like Toyota vehicles so far they are very reliable vehicle this Venza design much better than previous boxy wagon design at the mean time Toyota must do update on 2022 versions 1: For the drivers who are 5'10" and over if they drive long hours or stuck in traffic will feel very uncomfortable on sitting driver seat and may feel leg pain they must add manual or power thigh support like German vehicle even now some Buick models have it 2: Touch system some times in cold weather will not respond and may confuse the driver and take off his eyes off from the vehicle , A/C Heating power on off, control buttons will have to update with semi touch system as like Buick or Cardilac with led light indication 3: Back side signal indicators they should add one more under the tail lights aswell for the vehicle safety during the day driver from other vehicle may not see and cause accident 4 : Inside the vehicle power start button is too far for driver to bend down to search to press Let's hope Toyota will update

I guess Toyota has a look that they're going to stick with. I really don't expect Toyota to ever come up with a vehicle that looks as good as an Audi, Volvo or even a Kia. They're really good at making phenomenal cars that are not as good looking as they could be.I guess that's the long answer to your question "do you like the grill." Good lord, NO.
