This is very nice inside, but I was a little disappointed. A Barndominium of that caliber should have a 3-4 car garage / multiuse workshop or a large RV garage (drive-thru is preferred) with a multiuse workshop.

No, this is about correct. Mcdonough house's have skyrocketed since 2020. 30% or more, and land in henry county is literally up 1000% especially in certain school districts, which is what people want.

There's no slope in the shower to drain the water, which will cause standing water. Also, there's no storage closets throughout the house. There's wasted space throughout the house. Contractors simply said lets build a barndo and they'll like it.

Really like concrete floors! You can buy those "utility sheds" on your own and retrofit. It is beautiful! Sometimes builders should have a woman construction supv. to assist with interior design/layout. 3 acres maybe why price?

Hey Jeff, they are pretty easy to heat and cool. Most use spray foam insulation but would have to contact the builders to answer this question. I visited on a 95 degree day and it was very cool.

$800,000 is steep for a Barndo. I’ve been doing my research for a while now and when you go to resale you will get nowhere near that much for it. Don’t get me wrong because I do love them. A bardo is something you pretty much hold onto forever. It’ll always be looked at as a barn

I do like the bathrooms, but the house just doesn't have much character. The downstairs living area should of have had a black steel banister instead of that basic wood. Not a fan of the concrete floors either. It would look better in a loft.

It looks amazing..yes! However, barndos do not compete with stick built homes. The value is not there yet. Even with the amount of land, this property is way overpriced. These cannot be priced the same as a brick or stick built home. Definitely need to reaccess. The profit on this home for the builder will be astronomical since these are so much cheaper to build. Don't get fooled people. Do the research.

No way! For those of you who don’t know the area McDonough is way too populated. Traffic is a nightmare and what might be quiet now won’t be for long. Crime is definitely on the rise as well. You’re better of buying something inside the permitter thank fighting the traffic and rising crime rates.

It's quiet and out of the way where this is located. Atlanta's a booming area and it's going to have booming area problems. Although I just think this is steep in price for a steel and wood building, it's got a lot of country charm, space, lake and it's still has big city variety of things to do and places to go minutes instead of hours away. I just would've went with a more traditional setup versus the barn because that while kind of cool for some very rural area, just doesn't have the curb appeal at that price in that location where you'll have grand mansions as well.

Drove through there last week!!! Took me 40 minutes to go 5 miles. No way!!!
