The official word I got on why YSL doesn’t do feet on bags typically (this is coming from corporate) is that “our bags are not made to go on the floor where trash and dirt are. Our bags should be on the table with you and feet don’t belong on the table.” According to the Celine manager in Nashville, they don’t do mod shots to be more inclusive of all sizes so there isn’t misconception on how a big fits on the body.

What ticks me off lately is how sometimes the straps don’t always look best with the bags (side eye to LV). It’s fine if you have a collection to change things around but when there is GIGaNTIC consensus that customers don’t like something like the canvas straps on all the newer bags then stop forcing us to buy pieces that way. It’s only going to encourage more people to wait till it’s on the resale market. I have fortunately found that I love using the canvas strap from the speedy 20 on my high rise bumbag but then it means that cream strap is laying around waiting for a piece to work with 🤣

Iv'e got my bag-feet revenge with an Alexander Wang Rocky bag...it's got ROWS of feet... the bottom of the bag is entirely covered with feet. In palladium. It is also useful for self defence, hit with your handbag base!

Farfetch is probably the worse to send a bag without a box. I ordered a Moreau St. Tropez tote and it arrived in just the dust bag in the box with a hole 😱. Whoever was the shop that sent it didn't even consider putting the dustbag in a plastic so that in case it rained , and the box was crumpled, at least it would be protected. And the hole was so big that you can peep into it to check what's inside 😡

Cettire is the Worst for descriptions. There are others. You are forced to be asking...and they reply to your enquiry BUT they don't change the ad! But no, pointlessly responding to needless questions because they don't do their job properly in the first place...is keeping them in a job! Plus they fired the bag and colour name-maker? They should use Pantone colours in the description. It's not hard. How many bazillions do the companies make? Pantone, it's a universal language so there is certainty. Because I've lost count how many times they get a colour description wrong. You order the bag and it's a fire engine red not a blue red. ARRRRGGGGHHHH!
