Hello everyone! In today's video, I am thrifting expensive and luxury home decor from Goodwill and other local thrift store chains in my area super affordably. These home decor accessories are cheap! Goodwill prices are much more affordable than Ikea, Target, and Dollar Tree believe it or not! I have the thrift bug and I thoroughly enjoy showing you all of the minimalist, art deco, and mid-century styled vintage thrift finds I source along the way. Come see the home decor accents, accessories, furniture, and home goods that I find while shopping at my favorite thrift locations!
This budget-friendly haul is filled with designer home decor: Mikasa and Rogaska crystal candlestick holders and vases, antique/vintage pottery, and a beautiful Art Deco-styled lamp! All of the pieces that I'm sharing in this video are incredibly affordable for such timeless and exclusive pieces. Be sure to keep an open mind while sourcing your own inexpensive finds!

I have a story about Mikasa. My Dad took my 2 sisters and I to the Mikasa factory in the late 80s to pick out a china pattern we liked. Then every Christmas he would add pieces. Now I have a 16 piece table setting along with platters, coffee carafe, sugar bowl and creamer and loads of different size serving bowls in my pattern. I also have several crystal pieces I've been gifted over the years. I don't know why other thrifters don't like Mikasa. I think it's beautiful. Hum...great minds think alike right Beau? ❤💚💜💙💛

I’ll be the first to admit that as someone who thrifts, I don’t really watch others thrift here on KZbin so this is my first time hearing others don’t like Mikasa...their loss is most certainly my gain! I went to a Goodwill recently for the first time ever hoping to shop like Beau and there was literally nothing but trash. Old raggedy shoes, broken figurines and old dusty furniture. I can't believe Beau finds those beautiful items.

I have specific Goodwill's or thrift stores that I go to because some stores received better donations than others. Sometimes I find wonderful items, other times I don't find anything, but it's fun to look, I really enjoy it, and I look forward to Beau's videos. I'm always excited when I see a new one posted.

I love the crystal vase. I don't think it's ostentatious, but I'm 50yo... different generation. Now, that little piece of pottery... ahhhh I love it. My Aunt June, now 88yo, has that exact pottery vase in turquoise green at her house in the Hamptons. Every time I visit her I spend about an hour walking room to room enjoying her "littles" as she calls them on bookcases, tables, dressers. Her stuff is beautiful, amazing & worth a fortune & she has been thrifting for 60 years. Can't believe you found that little vase for $5. 🙂❤

Thank you, my friend! I would love to incorporate and share more of the behind-the-scenes work! Believe it or not, I don’t do anything too extravagant. I typically remove the stickers with GooGone if they leave behind a sticky residue, I give everything a soak/wash in very hot water and use a mild dish soap (Dawn Ultra Platinum), and for crystal pieces-I will use a handheld steamer to remove any fingerprints, grime, etc. and wipe the condensation away with a microfiber cloth 😊 My goal is to bring each piece back to its full potential! Awesome thrift store haul!!! Beau you have inspired me to look for "awesome" items at the Goodwill!!! I have found the (4) short clear glassware with the square lines for $1.99!!! A very tall clarinet clear glass trumpet 19" vase for $3.99!!!! I kept saying Beau will like this vase!!! Now I'm only looking for glassware by professional glass blowers and "unique" home decor items!!! The thrill of the hunt!!!! Clear glass/crystal is so underrated, it's so easy to incorporate into any decor. As usual everything you found is stunning. A tiered fibreglass lamp shade would look amazing on that stepped lamp 🙌🏼🖤🖤

My sister was a manager at one of the Mikasa outlet stores in the1990s. When items were marked down she would let me know and I would buy what I could at the time. Sometimes she gave me pieces for my birthday or Christmas. I have several pieces. I need to drag them out and see what they are worth now. I loved Mikasa then and still do. It was sad when they closed their retail outlet stores. I don't want to shop Mikasa at Macy's, etc.
