For Christmas 🎄, the trees around the fountain would look terrific all decorated. Each 🎄 could be done every few days as a family event. I would plant some wisteria and honeysuckle for the hummingbirds. Lovely European home in LA!

I suppose there are those who like the ersatz, but I'm not one of them. All these gigantic mansions require hordes of servants and endless house parties, and all the people I know aren't impressed by the pseudo-Versailles look -- they're acquainted with the real thing
