@@Ghumtaram well my comment was based on your thumbnail.of luxury hotels in Matheran and lord's is right below regal which you covered,bar house may be lil off from where you were...but imho these two are great options in Matheran,and I say this with a degree of confidence cos I ran a BNB in Matheran for eight years

Also if you are getting good online deals better to book advance. and if you want to explore options and chances of negotiating, you may try walk-in.
