As a 72 year old for second church service (3pm), where I have been there since 9:00am, flats any style always work and they are appropriate. I ask my 80+ year old mission sisters who also want to get up and praise the Lord with a run and shout not impeded with hurting shoes. We all agree pretty is the main focus. Girl I am dying but I love my ballet flats. I have so many pairs. I have a wide front foot and narrow ankles so they work. Also, I am done with heels and pointy toes. Plus I danced Ballet for 7 years as a child, so I got to have them.

If you stalk the resale sites regularly, bargains on new Bottega pieces do pop up. I managed to find a brand new F/W 2022 Padded Cassette last year for 33% less than retail. It was a color that sold out quickly. With price increases, it is now a steeper discount. I also saw a new specialty Cabat appear recently for about 80% off full retail. It sold quickly, of course. It's something I both love and hate about Bottega Veneta. It just doesn't hold its value on the resale market, but that also means you can find a stunning bag for a great price compared to other luxury brands.

I LOVE Bottega but yes the price increase is painful. I will say they do go on sale quite often on some of these websites. I also got one of my bags in europe and it really makes a difference.

Feel the same about ferragamo. With the revamp, their price has skyrocketed. Bottega and ferragamo were the "reasonably" priced luxury brands 5-6 yrs ago.
